Bra's are a pain in the ass, generally get in the wayof a good topless day, and until Victorias Secret makes one for the Thunderbird, I've never seen one that was attractive enough to put on it.

I agree with you, it's just that my car is Black and I live in an area where there is always a little sand everywhere. This sand gets kicked up by cars on the highways and at 70 mph the nose gets sand blasted. If Ford used black primer when they painted the car, it wouldn't be so bad, but they used WHITE. As a result in short order I found dozens of tiny, tiny white spots on various parts of the car. Mostly on the nose. Walter Goodenough knows what I mean because he also lives near the ocean in Calabash, NC. The last time I saw him I told him how great his Black TBird looked and he remarked that he just had the front end painted, $1000.
Shortly after that I decided a Bra was in "Annie's" future.

I use the "brush as much dirt off as possible" and then I mix a little NAPA car wash with water and wash just the areas that are dirty. Typically the lower parts that wraps around the fender and hooks onto the wheel well. Calvin - the "white" is usually wax build up. When you wax the car the "moist" wax gets in the pits, then dries which is very difficult / next to impossible to get the wax outta the holes.

My car is Cashmere, the chips on my front bumper are exposing black primer underneath. I've always waxed with Klasse or Zaino, neither of which leave any residue. Maybe I should wax the front with something that will leave the white was residue in the chip marks..

Yes Bradford the bumper is black under the paint color of your TBird. The other parts of the Bird are primmed in white.
