My satellite radio died earlier this week (Antenna warning) and when I opened the trunk, I discovered very clear signs that a mouse has been nesting in there and a chewed antenna wire
. So today, I took everything out, repaired the wire, and found the nest. It built a nest over the back right tire well, and had used the green installation pads from both wheel wells for nesting material.
I'm not sure what purpose those green pads serve, but assume it is likely some small amount of sound proofing for road noise.
Any suggestions for material to use to replace those pads?
