I bet that I have the noisy wiper blade option too since I am still running my original blades on my car. I can't remember when the car last seen rain!
Remember that the driver's wiper blade is 2" longer than the passenger's wiper blade. I usually pick up Motorcraft wiper blades at my dealer's parts department.
mine came with motorcraft, can't here them wnen their on but only used them once, try not to drive in the rain. liquid glass auto polish is what i use on the windshild just do the glass when i do the rest of the car.
Just noticed you are from Kentucky. Are you still married to your sister? LOL
Yes - Believe it or not, when my 2005 was new with only about 300 miles on it, I took a trip from Florida (my residence) and drove to Ohio, in almost 95% moderate to heavy rain the entire trip. And guess what....it survived and did not drown! (and neither did I!)
I replaced mine with Bosch Icon, probably the best wiper I've ever had on a car. Ended up replacing the blades on all 4 of my cars with these. They cost more, but worth every penny.
I received this offer in an email today, I ordered 2 sets, one for the Bird and one for my truck.
Hello, John:You can't drive safely if you don't see clearly.
New wiper blades can help you see clearer and be safer on the road. That's why we're giving you 20% off and free shipping when you purchase MICHELIN® Symphony™ all-season wiper blades. Visit www.wiperoffer.com and use promo codeWIPER to get yours today.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and I saw the Michelin Radius wiper blades for $14.95 each which seems a bargain to me.These are the floppy, frameless type.
I bought a 20" and 22" for our Infiniti FX and a 22" and 24" for the bird. I have only tried them parked in the driveway so far but they are working really well and competely silent. They look cleaner too.
I'll see how they perform in heavy rain on the interstate befre I start to rave about them.

I use Tri-Co blades and most places like Auto Zone and Advanced Auto will put them on for you. I also use Rain-Ex windshield wiper Fluid. It's a bit pricey compared to regular fluid but it's worth it. It not only cleans off bugs good, it also coats your windshield with Rain-Ex every time you use it. If you,ve never used Rain-Ex you're in for a real surprise, you can almost drive with-out wipers. I also think it helps keep snow and ice from clinging to your windshield, I use it in all my vehicles except my 1948 Willys. Leroy

I also use TriCo blades. Not only that, I also got there TriCo Winter Wiper Blade perfect for winter season.
I use PIAA silicone blades and am extremely pleased. No noise at all and no need to use Rain-X since it refreshes the silicone coating with each use. I liked Rain-X on the windshield, but the microbeading under streetlights worked as zillions of microlenses, making it difficult to see at that time; this only happened at night under bright street lamp, no other time. Having said that, any time you find yourself behind, or next to an 18 wheeler in the rain, you'll be very happy to have some sort of hydrophobic coating on the screen. PIAAs are pricey up front, but the replacement blades are inexpensive. Many choices have been thrown out there and all are OK blades. Good luck with yours.
