My car gets a flat at least once a year, it's sort of a nail magnet, it seems to have developed a taste for them. I've only had to use the spare twice, the rest of the time I was lucky enough to have an air compressor with me; I wouldn't consider a trip without it.

That sounds almost good Martin shipping from Canada has gotten extremely expensive. Will you remove tire? Hate to pay for additional weight just to remove it here.

Was hoping to get it before leaving for the NO trip.

I would have the old tire removed of course . Also makes for a smaller box . Would you know the weight of a single rim, then could calculate the shipping . Have not found that much of a change in shipping packages from here to the U.S. Or, you could come and pick it up . Nice drive .

              Martin,

We had a NM wheel weighed by UPS. The weight was about 24 pounds.

Back in the old days, the spare tire was rotated with the others to extend the life of all tires. That must no longer be chic what with the advent of the smaller spare.

Martin, can you ship Fedx. If so, I will send you my account and you can ship against it. Paypal or check.

Gerri and I Would love to buy you and Carole a burger and beer. Was going to suggest it and pulled out expired passports.

Just get in your yacht (boat) and will meet you on this side of the lake . Long point or Turkey point . First I will have the tire removed and rim checked to be sure it is not bent or anything . Was gong to ship by U.S. Post / Canada post . Could have Fedx pick up and ship collect . No idea how they charge . Keep in mind, this rim is not like the nearly new ones we exchanged before . It came from the 2002 that I got all the parts from . Only one worth saving .

Can you give me your zip code to calculate shipping ?

44406. post is fine. let me know. Doesn't have to be pretty just functional enough to get me to a repair station.

Got the wheel down from the loft . Looks pretty good and original tire I think ( Michelin ) will have removed . ( Part of the price ) . Sent you a PM but not sure where they are going . Try from your end and send me your phone number .

The five tire rotation was typically done with bias ply tires. Changing the direction of travel on radial tires causes belt separation.

Thanks Martin, just sent paypal. Please advise that you received it. Thanks again. Will be cutting it close for NOLA.

Interested in how folks have modified the wheel well opening including materials used. Thanks in advance.

Lon if you still have those pictures of your friend"s installation, I'd love to see them. coat1971@aol.com

Maxxis is shot. Always hated do-nut spares. Figured time is right.

See in another pot that you have new shoes on BB. What did you finally buy?
