Extended Warranty Added to our 2002 - Thanks, Lou!
Re: Extended Warranty Added to our 2002 - Thanks, Lou!
I bought the 7 year PremiumCare warranty with a $50 deductible on our car when we bought it new in 2001. I don't remember exactly what I paid, but I think it was somewhere north of $1300. In the 4 years past the original 3 years, I used it exactly one time to replace the power steering switch that was leaking while we were in Nashville last summer for the Applebaum's wedding and the ITC Convention. Obviously, that was not a good investment when it comes to return on the original cost, but I look at it like any other insurance policy.
I have insurance on our health, life, home and vehicles to protect from losses that I hope to never have. The extended warranty falls into the same category as far as I'm concerned. I hope to never use it, but I like the idea of being able to limit unexpected out of pocket expenses at the time, if something does go wrong. Isn't that what all insurances do?

Lou.
Just want to thank you again ( here on TBN ) for what I think is a super deal, " $1295.00 for 48/48 Ford ESP ". I would suggest any TBN er's thinking of an extended warrranty, give Lou a call. This is one of those deals thats too good to pass up.

Marvin,
I spoke with Lou a couple of days ago, and the price he's quoting is for $100 deductible. I also got pricing for $0 deductible which was about $400 more.

I thought you were only able to extend the warranty if you were under both 3yr/36K? I've got an extended to 7yr but I'm almost at 36k miles...can this one really be extended on a Ford ESP or is this a different after market warranty?
Lou I'm holding off calling you in case you are being flooded with calls from TBN folks...I'll send you a pm instead.

I had an extended warraty (5yr-70)that expired last year. current mileage is 41k.. Is it really possible to get an additional 48/48 FORD ESP?
Joel:
No problem getting Ford's ESP. The rules changed a while back. Used to be once a car went past the original manufacturer's warranty you could not do anything, but that has changed, as I say.
Send me a PM for details.

Lou, do you sell an ESP on Ford trucks that are still under Ford's warranty that will expire in about a month?
Yes, I can do that.
