I have actually been kicking the idea of selling my bird to buy a Vette.

Not seen you for a while Shon. Sounds like you need some good advise. KEEP THE BIRD

Economy sucks. We have 3 cars for the two of us, but no jobs. I might either sell the '03 Bird or my '01 Vette. I might try and sell the Bird w/o the hard top and stand. If I do, I'll let you guys know. Bird has 32k miles and Corvette has 26k. Tough choice!

Sorry to hear things go bad Ken. Hope it will improve soon. Tough choice, but if I were you I would hang on to the Bird. Not for the car itself, but for what comes with it.... the friendships, the people and the good memories.

Time to advertise, but still no decision. My wife says she feels more comfortable in the Bird, which she drives most of time. The Vette is like brand new with more than 10,000 fewer miles. At this point, I'm thinking the Vette might go.

There are more vettes on the market so WHEN things turn around you could find another vette easier than finding another bird. I have been out for over 17 months - working two "bridge" jobs - and taking the bird for a short drive - especially with the top down - does wonders in improving the day. Good luck in your job hunt.

One other thing to consider is the Vette a convertible,if it's a coupe there's no question in my mind.Also if it is does it have a power top .

I apologize for sounding callous about your Corvette.

These are tough decisions that really do......... SUCK!

Corvettes may be more common and easier to replace but even so they too are a very PERSONAL two seater. Let's face it not many of us even bother to put a coat of wax, even once a season, on the "family" car.

Yet, a 2 seater for those sunny days? Most of know every curve, line, little paint chips and other small inperfections in cars like your T-Bird and Corvette.

It's always tough to say, "Good-bye!" even when it makes sense.

Unless there are extenuating circumstances, keep the one you like and sell the one you like less.

If you asked this question on a Corvette forum, everbody would be telling you to sell the Bird.

If they're both paid for, just store them both and cut down the insurance on both, that should save you some bucks. Leroy
