For what it's worth, (Ray's and Leroy's opinion notwithstanding, and I have a great deal of respect for both, by the way!), mine has them, and I really like them. I have had a lot of positive comments about them.
They actually aren't as tack-on as some of the other accessories you can buy - these also actually bolt on into the underside of the wheel wells. And they aren't all ABS plastic - there's some metal to them as well.
I just posted some other photos of mine with the new hardtop on it, but you can also see my chrome wheel well trim as well. I think it looks great on MSBs!
See my other thread that was posted today to take a look at them. I'll also try to snap another pic closeup so you can see them.
Sorry, pictures are kind of dark. Also, hard to get a good look at the chrome trim from so close up. It looks better from a few feet away, but I didn't have a lot of room in the garage to take decent pics. Also, please forgive the dirty wheel wells! It's been raining here off and on all week, and I picked up some mud coming back from the paint shop yesterday!
IMHO, most attractive chrome add-ons are the hood scoop, rocker moldings (especially on a black car), and trim around the roof (again, looks best on a black car; however, I wish the design had been a bit higher quality-wise).
But, it's your car, your money, do whatever makes you happy.

I agree with Jerry. It's your car, your money; enjoy it as you see fit. Besides, since the moldings are not glued on, but bolted on, you can easily undo the mod if you change your mind.

Although......I have to admit I don't know why so many people get their panties in a bunch over it.
No, underwear in a knot Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it's your own vison. Mods are not only on the surface but anywhere on the car, ie, chrome engine trim, exhaust, interior, exterior, hardtop additional chrome trim, wheels, wide whitewalls and god knows what else all of us can come up with. Again, that's what I have said about this site, it brings out the soul of our current birds as well as all of our past birds. I'll step off of my soapbox now.

For example, I was all hung up on buying a Marauder back in 2003, but I changed my mind.
I had no intent of buying a retro, but I happened to see one with the saddle interior, black exterior, on a dealer's lot, and I was hooked.
Had that car been another color, I might not have gone for it.
As I read my monthly car mags, I'm seeing more and more mid/upper level cars with saddle interiors, but it's purely an individual thing. I still wish Ford had included a bit more "saddle" in the saddle interior. Kind of a mid point between the saddle as-is and the light tan interiors.

Here's the late Chris' car with the chrome fender well trim plus a bit more. He was the original "Bling King". You either love it or hate it but it's each owners personal choice. Personally,on black it really pops. Curious if it ever sold.
That is a beautiful car. (But I wouldn't want to have to clean those wheels.)

She was a good one. Sold 12/30/2014.
Replaced with 2013 Infiniti G37 Coupe.
A lot better car and even more exclusive, but doesn't have the Cachet the Thunderbird had. Adios, mi Amigo.

Ouch I really have to eat my words on my previous post. I've been looking at this photo for about ten minutes. The way the fender well trim
has been connected by the chrome strip really nice. Chrome around the
rear window beautiful. Anyone know how to do that. I have to be honest
If the price was right I would buy this car in a minute.
John, contact SixPac. Charlie was trying to sell the car for Chris' Mother who is in her 90s. Probably not a good idea to contact him until he gets back from the hospital.
