Added dealer markup of $9,995? They had to be kidding.

Re: Inca Gold on the Block

It all depends on how you look at it ...
They're probably only asking $25K for the car and $40K for the hardtop hoist. So really the only issue is the high cost of the hoist!

Bottom line - He/she has ZERO bids.

Re: Inca Gold on the Block

I had one of those "Inca Gold-pea soup gold' 56 Birds in High School (1961) and my friends made such a fuss about how ugly it was and how they blew my socks off with their 56/57 chevys that i sold it and bought a 49 MGTC .. not fast ... but way cooler.. at least in Southern California ...and Yes it had the continental kit and the off white soft and hard top.

Just think how cool it would be to have that now. If we had just stashed our "old" cars we could be having a great time working on them and driving them now.

Had a friend in HS in 63-4 that had an MGA. Same thing, with it. Not fast but sounded like it and a lot of fun being that close to the road.

I was kidding when I said I might part with mine for 50K but seriuosly I would take $64,999. The car now as 2,600 miles on it.
Its a better deal than 12K miles and $1.00 cheaper and my knob is black plastic "porcelin" look.

I had no idea. It looks like plastic. What is the insert on the steering wheel made of?
