....the placement of the cd is in a high heat generation area...which is self descriptive.....If I have a jammer...as in not Yo! Yo!....on cool down/ not use the cd ejects itself....

I go on line every day to see what the latest breakdown is, and lately, every day its something new. I sold my beautiful 78 T-Bird because I was afraid all the things that are happening to our retros might happen to my 78. None ever did, and the guy who bought it is smilling every time he takes it out and returns home without problems he has to report to a web site.
Fear not, Charlie. It's human nature to post about problems. Who's going to post that everything's great with their car? Given the thousands of our members, I'd venture to say that the percentage with problems is actually low. Try naming a brand of car that has dealerships without service departments.

Thanks. It's not a new problem, just that the normal activity did not get the CD out. I think any solution, such as repairing or replacing, would, in a short time, only yield the same results, as this appears to be a common problem. It's not huge, but very annoying--I mean, any car that looks this good ought to have a decent sound system.

I have been very impressed with the stock sound system .. Sounds great to my 68 year old ears tempered by sustained automatic weapon fire .. Happy Memorial day all.
