Not the greatest pictures, but here's a couple of different ferry rides:

We were the very last cars on this ferry, thanks to a little fast talking by DavidA. This one took us from Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island in 2009.



In 2012 during the Thunder East By Northeast travel event we took the ferry from Long Island to Groton, Connecticut. Tightest squeeze we've ever had on a ferry - I literally had to climb out of the car, because the door would not open up wide enough to get my foot out. After climbing out, I reached in and put the top up.

I think my car is behind you on the ferry ride in 2012. Also, I think the girls had to get out of the cars before we went into the ferry since their doors where so close to the side of the ferry that they would not have been able to open their doors.

Pat, you car is behind Bill's. Tom's car is in front of ours. It was definitely the tightest ferry ride we have been involved with and we've been on a bunch of them. I hated that we had to miss the one across Lake Huron on the Thunder Around The Lakes trip. We always enjoy the ferry rides.

This should be an easy challenge and I know just about everyone can come up with a picture if they want to do so. Let's see a picture of your Thunderbird with a flock of other retrobirds. It can be a large group or a small group of two or three. It can be a regional gathering, travel event or major TBN or other national Thunderbird Club event. Pick out one you like and tell us about where it was taken and when.

I'm even more surprised than you are! After innumerable attempts to post for the Challenge, I finally got something. Not a photo, but it's the best I can do. It's from October 2009 -- a Blue Ridge Parkway cruise put together by Jeff Mullis & the first TBN event that Shari & I attended. Yes, at just 4 cars it was small, but we loved it. As pictured from front to back: Daktari's EB from Georgia, our LIB, the Mullis's PCR from down near Charlotte NC, & a TR driven by Old Sarge & his wife from Tennessee. (Daktari (his avatar name) & Jeff Mullis have since gone to the big T-bird Cruise-In in the Sky. RIP, gentlemen.) ----Will
