What beautiful capital buildings! Wish Arizona's was that attractive (the City of Pasadena's building is equally impressive...and just a city's building!).
Looking forward to seeing some more.

This is the original County Seat and Courthouse still in use in Fort Davis, Texas. This was taken in 2008 when George, Dot Sally, Jeannie and myself took the trip to Big Bend after Desert Thunder II.

Since Ron posted the Kentucky Capitol, I won't post it. Looking through my pictures from trips, I can't find any more capitols with the T-bird in the picture - just two or three taken as we drove by.

Thanks Bill, I could not have had that picture without you, Paul, and the other great traveling companions. Not how about a picture of your hardtop being installed. Can be going on or coming off.

in the driveway waiting to be backed in. I looked through all my photos & believe it I don't have a photo of the car & the HT separated but near each other to be in the same frame.

I don't have any pics of our hardtop being put on, since it has happened so seldom over the years. So, here are a few Rosetta took when we did Nicky-the-Squid's relay back in '08.

The car was delivered to us by Mike and since it was a 100+ degrees in the shade we didn't have any shade near our house we made the swap at a local credit union drive thru.

We handed the top off to Ed & Diana in Branson a few days later. Gary & BJ joined us there for a weekend of fun.

Most of the Birds I remember from the 50's had white tops. Avery common combo back then that still looks great today.

I think they had a hard top swap gathering in the Atlanta area way back in 2002 or 2003.

Now that we have this thread brought back to life, let's have a little fun with it.

Here's the challenge - Post a photo that you have taken of someone else's retrobird. It can be one that you admired, had a question about, thought was too dirty, liked the color of, saw at an event, was looking at when you bought the one you owned or from any other category you can think of as long as it doesn't belong to you. There can even be more than one in the photo, but not yours.

And just for fun, tell us why you took the picture.
