I put extensions on my cars. The sound is better to me because it is behind the car instead of under the car. I think it looks much better also. Pretty inexpensive mod, less than 50 bucks per car at the local muffler shop.

I really like Borlas, but I have to reach too deep in my pocket for them.

Replaced resonators with straight pipes, move OEM tips back 3". Growls when you get on it, otherwise quiet.

I'm running fiberglas mufflers with the factory tips extended about an inch or so from the back bumper. Sounds good. Don't notice any drone. AND came in at $100.
