It had nothing to do with whether anyone was not enjoying themselves or sulking. I'm fine with however anyone choses to enjoy their vehicle(s), but that doesn't change the fact that they don't know what they are missing.
I count myself fortunate that Rosetta and I have the health, time and means to travel on TBN trips and events. I never take it for granted because any of these can go away at any time. So, as long as we can, I will, because there are a lot of amazing things to see in this country. I'd hate to miss one of them because I have preconceived notions about a location, a dirt road or saving miles on the car.
You've made your position on this clear many times. If you somehow think that my difference of opinion is somehow putting you down, I'm sorry, because that was/is never my intention.

Re: TBN "Celebrate Forty-Eight" Club
As for the states, dusty roads and miles. I have had a BLAST!! I have already been in more states and Canadian provinces in the last 3 years than I have my entire life, and it was in "A" Thunderbird. If you didn't have an odometer on the car to see your total mileage, would it matter. And as for the dusty gravel roads, of course no one "likes" to drive on them, however, we would not have missed this experience of being at the Northwest Angle Inlet, Minnesota, the Northernmost point of the lower 48 states, and the thunderbird is probably cleaner than before we started, it washed up very nicely.
Thanks Paul and TBN friends for all the travels and experiences.
Everyone has their own opinion.. this is mine

Alas, probably won't happen next year as our 57 trip is planned for San Diego next year.Last edited by 5bird7; Sep 22, 2015, 12:21 PM.
