will check John's registry. unless the owner has reported the serial #, it wouldn't be known there.

Dot: Hope all is fine down your way. Was not aware you also kept a '007 list. Ours is VIN 6230, #652
Also have quite a few others if you want them. You are probably aware that many of the 007's are on John Rotelle's registry. Not sure now if it is just the VIN or both. Better check before giving out false info.

Since it has come out that there were only 694 007 models built and we don't have a spot on the registry to list the 007 glove box serial numbers, I thought we could keep track of them here.

#2 - your 007 Serial number found in your glove box.

If you see one and can get the info off of it, please post it, too - ebay finds are welcome.

Dot, The 006 car is on the first page of the registry. There is column for serial numbers. If you have any questions for my friend I will pass it on to him.

thanks for all the info, Bill. I looked at some of those registered. From the lists above, I'm suspecting that the 700 serial number plates were all mixed in a bag and it was luck of the draw as to which car got which - for the most part. Didn't want to search thru all of them to find the 006 car but I would assume the missing 6 cars from the 700 are the pilot cars and their bond serial numbers are mixed in with the rest. It'll take some sleuthing to find what their bond serial numbers were.

According to my friend at the Wixom plant there were six pilot 007 cars built. He doesn't know if they were assigned numbers but they were not sold to the public. He also told me starting Feb. 3rd the Thunderbird will built downstairs with the other two car lines. There will not be a seperate Thunderbird line anymore.

Check out the T-bird registry site. They list several hundred 007 T-birds. They list serial # 1936 as 006 of 700. Go to the search area then to the particular body style. Click on the 007 line.
