    The dead give away was probably the 10,000 mile long extension cord attached to the plug.

    (might get to change my web description for the 2002s if all of those 191 with TCs were from Canada).
    All 191 were USA orders... all Canadian Spec cars, premium or deluxe, with or without hardtop, did have TC.

    2004 = 494
    2005 = 298
    In the assembly plants those block heaters were used to make tea.

    All 2002-2005 Thunderbirds were equipped with traction control EXCEPT the 427 2002 Deluxe models ordered for the U.S. market. These are order code 100 (Deluxe without hardtop) and order code 120 (Deluxe with hardtop). Premium models for all years had the traction control as did all cars, including order code 100 & 120, built to the Canadian specs. There were no Thunderbirds built after 2002 without Traction Control.

    Who can forget Chevy's 427 powerplant with 435 HP? We can only imagine what that might be like in a Retro.

    Fleeting vision of a Ford FE 427 medium-riser side-oiler with twin Holleys and Holman-Moody cam vibrating the whole car while idling passed through my mind. Sigh...

    No, they seem to be from cold weather states too and none appear to be rental cars...

    I did not know that.
    Ron, glad I could clear that up....

    You're absolutely right, Harry. That's definitely a useless fact. Got any more?
