Re: Pacific Coast Roadster data
Saw "Hailbird" before I read your narrative and thought could this be............
Was wondering if Mom kept the car. Met your dad when he, I and a member from Canton (Drew Mazer) met for T-Bird talk and Chicken dinners somewhere equal distances for all three.
We sure liked his re-done interior and it was a first time ride for me in a car with Borlas.
A great guy!  WELCOME!

 Re: Pacific Coast Roadster data

 Dot morning;

 I had heard from the grapevine that 001 of the PCR had been owned at one time per Jay Leno, I do not know if this is true or not. I believed it for a while but I recently looked at a list of his collection and I do no see any Thunderbirds. So this mystery continues for 001 through 005, would loved to know where they are.

 Re: Pacific Coast Roadster data

 9117 is your vin#,Originally posted by brianjolt View PostHello......My 2004 PCR is ser. # 9117, built April 5 / 04. Glove box info is missing. Would love to get a replacement ? I'm the third owner. It now resides in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.
 If you don't find a plaque affixed inside the glove box, either on the lid or at the front inside bottom of the box, you may have been stuck with the whims of a previous owner. I had contact with one in the US (Ohio or Pennsylvania or a nearby state) who assumed her dealer had put that plaque in her glove box and in a haughty move, removed it. I would doubt that she still has that car. Is yours originally sold in the US or in Canada?
 It's also possible that the previous owners didn't know about the plaque and it may still be covered with a white sticker with a bar code on it. (that has happened, too!) If that's the case, then just remove the sticker. Save the sticker if you keep mementos.

 btw, There are no replacements as there is NO record of which PCR got which #. Part of the reason we keep track of the serial #s on this site. The plaques were numbered from 1 to 1000.
