Re: Pacific Coast Roadster data
Well I haven't quite resolved the cream colored gage mystery on our PCR especially since those on our 05 MSB are identical. I'll compare them with another PCR at Mountain Thunder. In the meantime, I've encountered another PCR color mystery. Unfortunately, the plastic molded piece that fits over the hard top rear pin receptical somehow came loose and when I tried to raise the soft top, it got crushed by the soft top folding mechanism. My dealer said no problem as it is a warrantee item and that he'd order a replacement. He said the part comes in two colors, black and for the PCR, gray. Told him I needed the gray for the PCR. After three weeks the part arrived but it's noticably a lighter shade of gray. Neither he nor I can figure out what interior matches it but it's not the PCR, or at least not the one I own. Now to figure out how to get the right color. Anyone have any ideas? The part number that arrived matches the one called for in the PCR.

Re: Pacific Coast Roadster data
Karyl,
Great suggestion. I can tell from your description, my gages are not the same as yours. I've wondered about this and meant to check the other PCRs at Thunder Fever but never got around to do that.

Mine are totally cream. They have a band of silver trim on the outer rim and have black numerals and turquoise needles.
This is an interesting thread. We should all try to get pictures over the weekend and post them to look for differences. And check against build dates.

Re: Pacific Coast Roadster data
This is interesting. My PCR gages are silver, exactly the color of Courtney's 05 MSB gages. Mine is #914/1000. Wonder if Ford ran out of the cream colored gages near the end of the PCR run and used the silver gages for the rest.

Re: Pacific Coast Roadster data
The cream color refers to the face of the gages which is white on a reg dashes the rings are still silver. You can see a white background on the outer 1/4" of our gage face and then it is darker in the center like a very light coffee color.
It looks a little more subdued and elegant. I think it also comes with the light sand option on other models and on the CASHmere.Last edited by JAB02LHS; Jun 10, 2005, 12:10 PM.
