The Platinum Silver top looks good on the Merlot & vice versa. We got to experience that look at Desert Thunder a few years ago.

Ok who are these people with four or more tops:, I would love to own more than one but money does not grow on trees at least not here. What colors go well with the Merlot TBird, I thought about black???

I own one hardtop. It was on when I picked up the car on 26 May 05. Took it off when I got home and it still sits on the stand in the corner of the garage. I think I may put it back on in December just to see how it looks.

I own two hard tops, but then I also own two Birds. I have yet to switch the tops to see what the combinations look like.

At first I was looking for a complete car but living in a 2 bedroom condo in S.Fl. it was just as well it came without one.The Bird did come with one when bought by the original owner.If I was to go to the dealer I would more than likely find it stored there. In S.Fl. we get 12 mo. to flip the top as long as we wear a hat.If I did buy one I would be looking at a silver top

I love Tbird Hardtops, at one time I had 35 of them in every color,my favorite 2 were the Neiman Marcus Silver and the Torch Red without Porthole Windows which is on the car now, I get some strange looks. Drive safe the Snow is coming soon. Thanks, Rick

To clarify having four tops: CARTOY has three hardtops, she came with a RED, I found a Black on eBay, and the same for a Thunderbird Blue. I had the TB Blue hardtop painted Performance White.

The fourth hardtop is a White that belongs to BabyGirl, my '57.


I used to haunt eBay looking for GREAT deals on hardtops, 'til I got in a bind....I try NOT to look on eBay for hardtops anymore!

*I am looking for a good deal on a two-piece fiberglass tonneau, though

I had two tops after I bought the Whisper White top. I liked the two-tone look of the white top on the TVB car so much that I knew I would never use the TVB top anymore, so I sold it. I almost bought an Evening Black top a couple of years ago, but I fell asleep during the EBay auction, it was local, less than 15 miles away, and it sold for $760. You snooze, you lose...

I chose 1 hardtop but we do have 3 hardtops but 2 of those are not for the Thunderbirds. Funny though, we have 3 Thunderbrds that use hardtops but only 1 hardtop for 2 of those. White is so versatile though - I love to be able to use it on both the 02 and 05. If we were to get another hardtop, it would be black.

I don't have a Hard Top for two reasons. One I don't have the storage space for a top and two I really don't really need one here in Southwest Florida. I told the dealer to keep mine and give me credit for it.

All 007s came with the Performance White top....I like the look so much that I may just leave it on year 'round.

I agree with what others have said. I like putting the hardtop on in October; the car looks and feels different. I also like when I can take it off in April or May. The car looks great either way, but the portholes and smooth lines of the hardtop are hard to beat!
