Someday I'll buy a new rearview mirror that has Homelink integrated in it.

      But still love my bird!
I USE THE MAP POCKET ON THE DOOR FOR MY 02 AND 03, WORKS GREAT AND IS OUT OF SIGHT. I PLAN TO ADD THE HOMELINK TO THE 03, SINCE THE COLOR WILL MATCH.

Homelink, all my newer cars have had it including bird, but I never knew what it was called. Storing the opener in my 560 sel is a real challenge, along with no cup holder. My Expediton has more bells and whistles than the bird does. I can't imagine 100 more hp in theese cars. I have not driven any others but mine is pretty strong for road use. I guess with age my foot has gotten a little lighter. I still think over-all Ford got it right, even if it took people a few years to recognize that.

I don't want to sound dumb but what is homelink. I have an 03 so I guess I didn't get it.

Garage door opener. Or Gate open if you live in a gated community.
            Glad my 04 has it.
It has 3 channels. I use 2 of em for the gate and my Garage.

So, homelink basically replaces the clicker I have in my glove compartment or clipped to my visor?

My LS has a homelink feature. I never really gave it much thought.

I am the 2nd owner of my car. It is an 02 and I had no major issue at all for the previous 2 years since I got it. OK, I have the CD jam issue but I will do the repair by myself the next spring. An easy task. So, I am very satisfied for the time being. I agree with Mark saying that MOD will improve the satisfaction, seeing his car... he made the exception.

I am wondering what would be the result of the same poll coming from the outside and for those selling their cars on ebay and so on whatever their miles are? Why are they selling these beautifuls cars?

My wife spotted our Bird located on a lot and made the comment that we needed it. I had been looking at it from afar for several weeks but had never mentioned it. All she had to do was mention it and it was parked in the driveway the next afternoon. Nuff said. We absolutely love the car. I had a 60 T-Bird convertible as my first car and it has always stayed in my heart. Once a bird lover, always a bird lover.

I will have to say that I am quite satisfied with my bird.Although Ive only owned it for one year and it now has 23k it has been trouble free so far! If I had read the blogs prior to purchasing on the nest I probably would not have purchased as every time I logged in some one had the dreaded big E or another cops problem. It so good to hear the positive side of ownership. The biggest complaint I have is the hardtop could have been built with another inch of head room. The other problem was the noise of the hard top rubbing on the body but I solved this with the chrome strips from TB concepts. If in 45 years that's my only problem I will feel Ive been well served. Thanks to all of you for the input on the nest.

Have had one coil/plug problem and the "E" problem. Bought Lou's ESP for peace of mind. Took the bird up the Blue Ridge Parkway and back with no problem except for the Macon County Sheriff didn't like my speeding. Got lucky with my Purple Heart tag and sent on our way. Put the wind blocker on kept us toasty with top down in 60 degree temp. Arrived at our destination, York. It then snowed 10". All in all it was a great trip and we really love our red bird.

We bought our T-Bird in May of 2011. We had been looking for one for a long time. Our car had 85000 miles on it so I had to replace some items like all the struts and the right door keyless lock system. Other than those we really love our T-Bird. We are hoping to help Columbia Basin Thunderbird's get off to a good start next year.

I like our retro Tbird, but one is enough for me. I like variety. Well, I might be willing to add one more if it was of the 55-57 series.

I love my retro and Galaxie, but wouldn't want two of either car. They are great cars to own and drive, but there are plenty of other great cars out there, old and new.
