I too have the CTCI medallion, as shown by 5Bird7. I really like that TBird symbol (wings) in aqua. If ours was like that and had a modest "Thunderbirdnest" below the symbol, I'd be interested. Anything else..........? Probably not. Also metal is a must. Plastic looks cheap. If metal, it could also have a backing that protects the grille.

Hey, I used to have a Cutlass and yep, you're right. That's why I now drive a Thunderbird. Remember this motto, "If it's not a Thunderbird, then it's just a car."

Not interested; front plate already covers up too much of the grille.

The grill medallion is a great idea and would make our Birds look even more like the "classics" that they are. My vote would be for one made out of metal and I liked that idea of attaching it with screws in a bracket. Attaching it securely will make it less likely to get ripped off. I guess I shouldn't worry too much about that though, while the thieves are boosting our hardtops!

sorry about that i cant spell.......oops
i think they should be metal with a rubber or invica back with a clip on the back that would prevent harm from comming to the grill if the kids tried ti boost it. but i think we have nothing to worry about as none of us ever leave our car long enough to have anything "boosted" except for our canidian friends that park near streams and have thier tops ripped off..........if ford had sold all the cars with hard tops we woulden't have that problem.

I like the idea of a brass badge, too. For years, I've had these types of "Heritage of Ownership"badges on Cadillac grills without damage or theft...
"Give 'em any color they want...
                          ...as long as it's black".

if we do berass then we would have to polish them all the time.i would like to see a "chromelike " badge with thunderbird blue acents.
and i think the invica will work just fine as a backing to prevent scratching.
