I don't like the cog/gear appearance of the outside of it. Looks like a leftover car part to me.
I agree that the ThunderbirdNest.com should not be split up. Potentially confusing. Use the logo. At the bottom of the circle, superimposed on it. In chrome, no other color.
Not too crazy about the red on it. I think the only color should be turquoise on chrome. We already have this color on the emblems on our cars, so the badges would be in keeping with that. If we went with this format badge, I would prefer to see black in place of red, and chrome in place of the black. This accentuates the "porthole" effect of the badge.
I'm working on one that I'll post tomorrow.

Medallion Blanks

I agree, the name should not be broken up. But the gear motif is a must..think of all the medallions you see out there. That is the classic design.

i would say that quickdraw's design would make a good sticker but it doesn't look anything like a medallion to me.

I Originally thought I might like a smooth outer edge but after looking at the gallery I prefer the gear outline. I'm not sure how you keep from breaking up the name. unless you make the wings shorter. I guess you could cover a letter or two with the extended wings, particularly in the word Thunderbird. Everyone is not going to be happy no matter what is finally selected. Someone has to take the Bird by the feathers and decide if we want to go further with the current design and get prices, releases, etc.
