Had a few ideas on which way to go with the next challenge. So we go with a picture of your car at an airport sign, this one being in Dallas Georgia. There had been a push by our county to provide a commercial airplane airport to coincide with the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. But mostly politics got in the way with Atlanta and Delta airlines fighting against the idea and the plan to commercialize it has died for a while. It sits roughly 30 miles north of the Atlanta airport and it makes sense with the amount of traffic flowing through the main airport.

image_52089.jpg Another challenge that got me out of the house and going to a place in town I don't normally frequent. The sign at our little airport, like this photo is not very impressive. Then again, neither is the airport.

00E36945-691E-4471-9175-EBDAEBFA6A99.jpeg Took this today around 4pm, it is just off the main gate to Wright-Patterson AFB. Traffic was so heavy at the time there was no way we could or would try to mess with backing it up to get in front of the official sign. Not to mention p....g off the guards.sigpic

Look forward one day to visit the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patt, I’ve heard it’s great. Have had the challenge out for a week, so the night I’ll pick one to pass the baton too.Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.

A week has gone and we have three pictures to look at and honestly the picture by Paul has the best overall view. It's going to be a ping pong and the challenge goes back to Paul!Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.

Thanks, Issy. Seems everyone had some tough afternoon sun and shadows to deal with.
For our next challenge, let's see your Tbird at or near a restaurant. The more interesting the restaurant the better.

This is one for me to remember as I went out today to take a picture of my car by a restaurant. Left the house and drove about 10 miles to what I thought would be a good picture for the Thunderbird challenge. When I get there I pose the car and go looking for my phone/camera and notice that it is missing from the car! Well, crap I figured I left it at home in the garage as I sometimes do. I get home and cannot locate it after exhaustive search of the whole house. (Crap!) I have a Google Pixel phone and used an app on my I-Pad to locate it, and it showed somewhere almost a half mile away from my house. It is now dark outside and I am pissed off about losing a $700.00 phone device, so off we go Claudia and I using the app to locate it within a 350 foot area. Pitch black outside and we start pinging the phone walking and driving around a dark looping road which leaves our neighborhood and we cannot locate it nor hear it. Not too give up we pull out the flashlights and walked probably a good quarter mile before we FINALLY heard the phone and located it further down the road.
Damn the mind is going, to make a foolish move as driving off with my phone on top of the stovetop and not noticing it! But tomorrow I WILL get that picture as now It has to be done.Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.
