It seems that FoMoCo may have paid the producers for some product placement. Tony still drives a GMC SUV and Carmela a Benz wagon ... but Meadow is driving a beat up Mustang convertible, Adrianne a TB, and some wise guy was driving a Jaguar S-type last night. Too little ... too late for the TB? Alan
There not one, but TWO PCR's in this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City. I heard there was a "fantasy" emerald green one in the same parade a couple of years ago, but I didn't see it.
Torch Red bird (belongs to Isaak's manager) seen in the last two episodes.
Two weeks ago, Chris has a yard sale and his manager (Yola) brings over a bunch of junk to sell...all of it coming out of the trunk of the Bird. (More junk than would ever FIT in the trunk of the Bird.)
Last week, Yola's car is parked next to Chris' car after she completes a foot race.
Onscreen for fifteen, twenty seconds each time.

Just a heads up, anyone who watches DIY network (Do it yourself) knows they have a Classic Car Restoration show on Sunday afternoons. Lately they have been stuck showing a Corvette and Camaro being restored over and over, but last night they started a new series restoring a 62 T Bird convertible roadster. They showed a short film history of the Tbird which displayed every model up to the 2002 bird noting that T Bird won Motor Trend Car of the Year three times in it's history (last being 2002).
This may have been shown previously, but I have only been watching DIY for about a year or so. It is very informative and well worth checking your local listings. The series usually runs about 5 to 6 episodes.
Perhaps I misunderstood your post, Dave, but the Bird has actually won MT's car of the year four times: 1958, 1987, 1989 and 2002. It's the only car that has that distinction.
Dave: that's one disease we don't have here in Arizona as we don't change time like most other states. We do have a severe lack of water, but that's a whole other issue
Watched My Classic Car this weekend, and during the tech segment they discussed the Battery Tender, and believe it or not Dennis Gage had his 2002 TBird Blue in the shop and showed how he runs the quick disconnect out of the spare tire/battery well. It was a full accent Premium. They did not discuss the car in particular, but I recognized the tail lights in the teaser at the beginning of the show. I anxiously awaited the several good shots of the car that came later.
Ellen was interviewing John Travolta on her show on April 21st. He was showing pictures of his house that was built around a couple of planes. He indicated that his cars were in the front of the house and that they were the old Thunderbirds from the 50s.
4/25 Travel Channel, two great hours of car stuff. John Ratzenberger's "Made in America" two episodes. First included piece on Henry Ford and some Thunderbird footage. Second show had segment on Corvettes, and new show, "Convertibles" a one hour program about history, appeal, engineering and design of convertibles. Plenty of Mustang and Thunderbird (yellow 02) featured. Final segment is about woman who has never driven a convertible is given use of yellow 02 Thunderbird for a day. "This is so cool, I feel like everybody is looking and waving at me!" she squeeled. I wondered if it was the convertible, or just the Thunderbird experience?
Sherrie Austin's country video made #13 in its first week on the country chart. It will paly on GAC network (Great American Country) a couple times each day. You can visit the GAC website, click Top 20 countdown, and "search" and it will give you a chart of approx times it will air. Video has Thunderbird in it. Sherrie Austin is easy on the eyes too.
