Frasier

The episode of Frasier on October 28th had a scene in a parking garage where they walked by a new T-Bird on their way to an older car from the 50s or 60s. It showed the grill and it looked like it was mountain shadow grey, but it could have been black in the lights from the parking garage. It was on briefly. (I have it on tape if anyone cares.)

Friendly Ford of San Jose has a commercial which features all the Ford Products. The Tbird is being driven by the "owner/manager" and they are advertising '03s at a 5K or so discount. Looking at Forddirect.com shows that they have collected an inventory of 10 '03s in the last week or so. It will be interesting to see how they do.

Watched the Frasier show on VCR.

The Bird was "nice", but the 1959 Caddy convertible was the star of that scene.

No room for Frazier to lay down in the back of the Bird...it had to be the Caddy!

I saw what appeared to be a the front end of a black bird on the "Ed" show tonight. The wheel cover looked pretty distinctive.

Yeah, I saw it, too...think it was for an insurance commercial, or something like that...great shots! More than I've ever seen on a Ford commercial

New Version of "Need A Lift"

I have a new version of the DVD. It now has 75 minutes instead of 40. It has 18 chapters (on 3 menus) and 25 minutes of pristene ist generation Ford sales video.

This is for TBN members only. Those who have purchased the 1st eddition DVD are entilled to an upgrade for $7.00.

1st time requestors will need to pay $12.00 to cover costs of making the DVD. The new DVD's will also have inkjet printed labels. Not paper labels. The printer set me back $228.00.

Let me know if you are interested. There is also a pristene(Ford BetacamSP) video of a RED Roadster that never came out and a 1962 Tbird Roadster driven in Monument Valley. Very interesting Ford stuff including the Wright Brothers Kitty Hawk engine replica production for the Dec 17 2003 flight.

NEW TBIRD DVD

I am still waiting for the printable DVDs ($109 investment). Give me a little time on this one. I want to do a really good job on this one. The DVD will not be ready for Xmas. Also, there are 18 chapters on the DVD menu now since I removed the second copy of "Need A Lift" commercial.

My Classic Cars on Speed Channel. Tonights episode had the forst 1/2 devoted to A Thnunderbird meet someplace-- I missed it, but it's on again at 2:00 AM est. and I'll tape it. I caught the end and it looked like a good show. Dennis Cage drove off in a Red 2002 with a white top.

Also on the same show, a Maguire's commercial featuring a black 2002 with hardtop on. In the background was a red "little bird".

I recorded it; it was in California and called the "Thunderbird Pageant." Really nice show and some beautiful Birds.

I saw the Thunderbird Pageant show last night. There were some beautiful baby birds on display including one that looked similar in color to this year's VMG and a Willow Green one (too bad that color hasn't been offered in this run). Just what I need, another cable channel to watch!!! (SPEED).

Last Sunday during the playoff games there was, I believe a Jack in the Box commercial that showed a Torch Red T Bird. I didn't see it from the begining but my wife brought it to my attention and I saw the last half of it. Naturally they did not replay it so I didn't see all of it.

Anyone else see it?
