No problem, my pleasure helping you and the other TBN members put a 4 year Ford Premium Care (bumper-to-bumper) warranty on your TBird. Your copies went out in the mail this morning.

With that drum roll let me let inform all TBN members that
Ford's annual price increase for their ESP programs is November 4th.

If you've been mulling over getting the Premium Care ESP for your Thunderbird you might pull the trigger prior to Nov. 4. OK?

Just got off the phone with Lou...the whole process took less than 5 minutes! Seems as if I have the second lowest miles from our TBN family.
If you're contemplating the ESP, I suggest you bite the bullet soon!! Remember, Ford will be increasing their prices in November.
        Thanks again Lou!

Just purchased the 48/48K/$50 Dedt. warranty for my daughter's 05 Bird. Now both of our T-Birds are covered until 2013. Mine will be covered until I reach 57K,hers until 80K.
Something I wasn't aware of is that you can re-new the policy one time only for an additional 48/48K after this one expires. That would put us at 105K and 128K. Boy, that seems a long way off.

Thanks to Lou for making this happen. Great guy to deal with.

I appreciate the kind note. It really doesn't take long at all. Never thought there'd be so much interest, but with the discount I am giving TBN members and no worries for 4 years it has caught on.

              Thanks again,

              Lou

PS: FYI- Low mile award goes to a Nieman Marcus edition owner. (1,895 miles).

                Hey Ron:

Your daughter's ESP paperwork left this morning.

Most people are not aware that Ford allows owners to get an extended warranty after the original manufacturer has expised. That was NEVER allowed until recently. My ESP expires in 2012 and I will renew it for sure.

FWIW, I price the Premium Care ESP to TBN members at what I get it for as a Ford dealer employee.

One of our TBN members just got his ESP from me and told that he just had to get his TBird's air conditoner fixed and cost him $1,400. I'm not sure folks realize just how high the cost of repairs can be these days.

Engine and trans issues are always huge. The electronics and high-tech, however, can be devastating and I'm talking primarily about the cost of the parts. For example the air bag module is $721 just for the part. A full computer module is $1,378. It used to be labor was the bulk of the repair costs, now it is 2:1 parts over labor.

Well, anyway, the point is that a 48 month/48,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty at $1,295 may seem pricy, but not if you have a $1,400 bill for an air conditoner staring you in the face and that is if you never have another repair in the four years.

Thanks for the confidence and the opportunity to set you and your daughter up with Ford's ESP to protect your Thunderbirds.

Lou, just curious. The warranty on my '04 was
                    "canceled by area rep request"
after car was in a hailstorm as a demo with 500 miles.
Car was sold at auction & fixed clear title then I bought it.

                    1. Can I buy the extended warranty?
                    2. Are my cop's covered 100k without an extended
based on the letter I received extending coverage?

                    “THE EDGE,
there is no honest way to explain it
because the only people who really know where it is
are the ones who have gone over.”

                          Hi Folks:

I was stunned at the $2,395 quote you cited. Retail is $1,895 nationwide. They probably thought you'd lay down for the price.

Anyway, it has been a real pleasure to help so many of our TBN members with their ESP questions and/or purchase.

                          Thanks for the "Atta-Boy."

One more 'kudo' for Lou. After spending $1400 for my A/C, I went to the dealer to find out about ESP. My '05 has 36000 miles and I only travel about 5k per year now. The dealer (L/M) quoted me over $2k for 3 years ! I called Lou and got 4 years at a MUCH lower price !

                              Lou's da man !
