Wow that is great information, I know I bought a 1970 Mercury in 1972, still on the MSO. I got all the warranty from the day I bought it. By the way it was a Cardinal Red X-100.

Triva, when was last the last Thunderbird sold and what year was it?

Well.... I retired January 1, 2007 and at that point there were 109 unsold Thunderbirds. The last sale I have recorded was July 20, 2016 Bought by TBN member David Bayer.
The last sales I have recorded were on December 15, 2006. Of those unsold units on Dec 16, 2006,

Excluding David's purchase last year,

there were seven 2002's, 27 2003's, 16 2004's and 58 2005's. I know what everyone is thinking and NO all 108 unsold units were NOT red. It's worth noting that when dealers buy cars for their own collections they often do not record the sale so we can't assume all the unsold units were actually available for sale.

Harry, Would you look up vin# 5011, a 2005 Thunderbird, possibly a cashmere. Owner is trying to figure out what his glove box serial # is but the plaque is missing from his glovebox.

The list we've kept of the cashmere owners is not going to help me figure out what his serial number might be since I didn't set up the cashmere list with serial numbers AND VIN numbers.
