Hi Harry, Here is a good one for you. I have been talking to an original owner of a Neiman Marcus Thunderbird who bought the car new and took delivery of the car at Imperial Ford in Milford MA. He has no idea what his VIN number was as he didn't own the car that long. I was talking with Ron McCloud who said that you might be able to find that info from your records that you have on the Neman Marcus cars. Thanks so much for any help with this matter. Evan.

Maybe, just maybe.... does he remember what day he picked up his NM? The NM order date was Friday 9/15/2000 and the very first two were delivered to the dealer on August 8, 2001. The very first NM to be picked up from the dealer was 8/16.2001. There must have been a hold on them as I cant see anyone waiting eight days to pick it up.

Not only that but the vin body code is incorrect for NMs. should be 1FAHP64...... put that in the search and you come up with Detroit.

Not Harry but, I suspect that that is not in Harry's files. Detroit is the only city listed for any of the Neiman Marcus' as it was up to the owner to tell Ford where to send the car for the owner to pick up. Dealer was only the go-between for Ford and the new owner. Suspect the original buyer needs to contact the dealership as see if they still have records of his purchase there. Hopefully that dealership is still around.
